
ABOUT
DR JACQUES DU TOIT
Dr Jacques du Toit graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery from the University of the Free State in 2007. During this time, he received accolades such as the Horace Wells Medal and the Janssen-Cilag Prize for Best Final Year Medical Student in Anaesthetics. Following specialist training he became a Fellow of the College of Orthopaedic Surgeons of South Africa in 2016. That same year, he also obtained his Masters in Medicine in Orthopaedic Surgery from the University of the Free State.
Dr Jacques du Toit regularly attends international and local conferences on diverse topics, including orthopaedic oncology, limb reconstruction, robotic surgery and knee and hip revision surgery. In addition, he regularly acts as faculty, presents and facilitates numerous national and international meetings in his field. He is also an implant consultant surgeon thereby teaching and surgically assisting colleagues nationally and internationally with infected and difficult joint revision arthroplasty surgeries.
